Featuring two internal connectors with 4 ports each, the card features an impressive 8 ports for connecting drives to. The SAS6/iR features PCIe® connectivity and requires a x8 slot for connectivity. The card also offers up to 3 GBps of maximum burst speed per port. With support for S.M.A.R.T. physical drives as well as up to 10 physical drives, this card is ideal for your Dell PowerEdge™Server. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
