The Dell™ 407-BBRC QSFP+ transceiver delivers high-speed fiber connectivity to extend the range of your network. This hot-pluggable transceiver with a QSFP+ (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable Plus) footprint features a Duplex LC connector. The Dell networking 40GBASE-LM4 transceiver provides 40 Gigabit Ethernet (40GbE) connectivity, supporting up to 150m on OM3 multimode fiber (MMF), 160m on OM4 MMF, or 1km (up to 2km with host FEC) on single-mode fiber (SMF).

Additionally, it provides an enhanced digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM) interface via I2C, allowing real-time access to device operating parameters such as transceiver temperature, laser bias current, transmitted optical power, received optical power, and transceiver supply voltage.
