The MD04ACA series offers up to 6 TB capacity and uses Advanced Format and leverages a best-in-class power management technology.

In addition, this desktop drive provides up to 16% idle power savings over the previous model. The SATA 6.0Gb/s interface drives deliver 7200 RPM performance. These HDDs are designed to allow manufacturers to leverage the benefits of the latest components and operating systems to deliver high-performance, high-capacity, power-efficient systems.

Note: This 6.0TB HDD utilizes a new standardized mounting screw pattern that is not compatible with older Mac Pro models. In a Mac Pro tower, the drive can be installed in an empty optical drive bay using an OWC Hard Drive Bracket, OWC Multi-Mount Bracket for 2009/10/12 Mac Pro, or an OWC Multi-Mount Bracket for 2006/07/08 Mac Pro.
